Color Assigner
Using semantically-resonant colors, such as blue for ocean, in data visualizations can improve chart comparison tasks.
This tool matches terms to colors from a palette by searching for related images (on Google Image Search). For more information, please see our paper.

3. View the results. The left column shows the assignment of terms to palette colors. Histograms for each term show its affinity to each palette color. Term-color affinities are computed based on how well the term matches the color (according to image results), and how well the colors discriminate between terms.
